I love to paint and I love the outdoors. I am constantly gathering images in my mind for the next painting. I paint the outdoors to evoke the feeling I have when I'm actually there.

I decided a couple of years ago, to focus more time on painting. I prefer simple compositions, adding and deleting elements to include those that are most pleasing, and calming, to the eye. I focus on color, light and their arrangement in order to evoke the feeling
one has when observing the scene in nature.

I paint in oil and acrylics, depending on the what my goal is for that painting.

I love art (of course) but also reading, hiking, running . I am married and have 3 children,
who keep me very happy and very busy!
